We are proud to announce our partnership for the 2015-2016 school year, with Los Angeles Superior Court. The Southern California School of Interpretation will provide volunteer interpreters for Teen Court at approximately 31 high schools in Los Angeles County.

This is a wonderful collaboration with other Teen Court partners consisting of judges, school officials, judicial officers and probation staff who are all dedicated volunteers providing mentorship and educational opportunities for the high school students involved.

It is our pleasure to collaborate with the Hon.Judge David Wesley, Ms. Leslye Kasoff, Teen Court Program Manager, the entire staff and all the dedicated volunteers. Our students are looking forward to the opportunity to interpret for non-english speaking parents of minors, and promoting career opportunities for high school students in the field of interpretation.

In preparation for this project, our students have attended a half-day Orientation and Training, consisting of a mock trial held by the Hon. Judge David Wesley, and "Introduction to Teen Court Interpretation" by
Ms. Victoria Caro, Certified Court Interpreter, Superior Court of Los Angeles.
