The Southern California School of Interpretation was established in 1993 by our Founder and Director Mr. Néstor Wagner. Since then, we are the school with the highest pass rate of certified interpreters in California and Nevada. We specialize in preparing fully bilingual individuals in Spanish and English to be State Court, Medical and Professional Interpreters. The Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education determined that the Southern California School of Interpretation meets the qualifications for exemption from regulation under the Act, pursuant to California Education Code (CEC) section 94874(f) - Click here to see official letter.
Currently, over 85% of the candidates who become certified interpreters in the states of California and Nevada are graduates from our programs.
We also offer instructor-led and non-instructor led continuing education courses approved by the Judicial Council of California for certfied interpreters who need CIMCE credits.
